ANNOUNCEMENT

CHANGE TO ACCESSING RESULTS

HRD is changing the way clients and learners view student results.

From 1 January 2013 existing student results pages will progressively be removed from the website. Accurate student results can only be viewed by accessing the HRD Training Management System database.

The login used to connect to the HRD-TMS database is different to what's required to connect to existing student results pages.

First time HRD-TMS users must contact HRD by email (admin@hrdi.com.au) to be allocated a TMS login name and password.

Who is rail signalling training for?

Want to know about training and employment as a signalling technician?

Read on before contacting HRD Integrated Services for information.

Installing and maintaining rail signalling equipment demands highly specialised knowledge and skills, so there are limitations to who can enrol in Certificate III/Certificate IV training.

Enrolment in HRD rail signalling training is open only to people employed in rail infrastructure EITHER as an apprentice signal maintenance technician OR as a trainee signal technician who holds the recognised trade qualification.

Learners need to have access to technology in the workplace to apply theory and to practise skills, and to be able to undertake the workplace assessments essential to demonstrating competency.

HRD supplies the training but not the infrastructure you practise on.

See the Careers in rail signalling page and Certificate IV training information for more information.
